Featuring a dozen bands spread across three stages the all-day festival brought death metal metalcore and good old-fashioned thrash among other styles to a discerning Connecticut crowd. The odd artist out was headliner. 1 among conservative pundits looking to scapegoat music for various social ills. These days one wonders what all the fuss was about.
