Infernus Discusses The Future f Gorgoroth
Metal Underground
When it comes to bands I?d like to play live with or at least which I think I could survive some weeks on a band bus together with there are a few. Again who these might be time will tell. xFiruath: When you aren?t writing or playing music what bands and albums are you personally listening to the most these days? I am rather narrow minded and pre-judgmental when it comes to metal music. That is not a really big secret. I have been defending the faith since the 80’s and I do more or less listen to the same classics now as back then. Right now I am in a Judas Priest period. Déjà vu! Guess I just said so in another interview recently.
Metalli-coda: The Great Metallica Debate Wrap-Up
Cleveland Scene Weekly
The induction ceremony ended with the band performing “Train Kept A Rollin’ “ — Cleveland’s unofficial classic-rock anthem — with members of Led Zeppelin Aerosmith the Yardbirds and the Rolling Stones. Gentlemen as if the quarter-million-plus crowds weren’t enough you have now officially arrived. Granted Metallica hasn’t been strictly a metal band for years. And 1991’s “Unforgiven” has not one but two sequels. But last year’s Death Magnetic — produced by Rick Rubin who’s worked with Johnny Cash Neil Young and fellow Rock Hall class of ’09 inductees Run-DMC — is thrashier than anything they’ve done for damn near two decades. So to cap Scene’s commemorative.

Metal bands have always loved pasty muscular white dues who wield swords. They?re perfect for album covers. Fargo in the Twin CitiesContinuing the Fargo-metal music connectivity a co-worker alerted me to a death metal band from the Twin Cities named Fargo. Looking at the group?s MySpace page makes me consider this is a joke band conceived by bored teenagers who also like swords ? and magic wands. But the instrumental ? read no vocalist in the band ? group does sound like it?s trying to be serious with riffs so heavy and thick they would crush any jokes propped under them. Hopefully Fargo is real because I really want one of its supposed band T-shirts ? a shirt with a picture of a ?Star Wars? Imperial Walker with the word ?Fargo? above it. That?s way better than pictures of longhaired dudes with swords.

I was somewhat lukewarm on my reception to the other band-themed title that Neversoft put out with GH: Aerosmith but Metallica absolutely blows that game out of the water not only with the track listing but the overall time and attention put into the actual presentation and how the band seems to be infused into every aspect of the game. bviously having a Guitar Hero game centered on legendary band Metallica is by itself quite a thing. I’ve been a long time fan of the band and I was pretty happy to see that Death Magnetic downloadable album last year but obviously I wanted to see more of their older material specifically from Ride The Lightning Master of Puppets and so on.

In 2006 Finland entered a death metal group called. They dressed as monsters their song was called ?Hard Rock Hallelujah? (sample lyric: ?the rock?s about to roll it?s the a-rock-alypse now bare your soul?) and they won the contest handily.
