It was a no brainer for us to speak to Mediaskare in regards of taking them to a new level” says Ray Harkins from Century Media who alongside one of the co-owners of Century Media Robert Kampf was instrumental in reaching this agreement. Bodnar (CE of Mediaskare Records) further comments: “Ever since I had to special order EYEHATEGD in 1993 Century Media has been one of my favorite labels. I am blown away by how they have brought the heaviest of underground metal to the forefront of the music business. Now being part of a winning team like Century Media is the opportunity of a lifetime for Mediaskare. Most of all it gives me the autonomy to focus on my major talent (finding and developing new artists and working hand in hand with them on their careers). I have known several people on the staff for sometime now and they have always been the coolest people to work and hang with at shows.

The bomber struck as hundreds of people gathered for a meeting of the Awami National Party (ANP) a small nationalist ethnic Pashtun party in the town of Charsadda in North West Frontier Province on Saturday.  ?Twenty-five people have died and more than 35 are injured? provincial health minister Syed Kamal Shah said although ANP leaders were not among the dead and wounded. The government has formed an investigation team comprising senior police officials to probe the attack he said. Bomb disposal experts said that up to 10kilos of explosives mixed with metal pellets were used in the suicide bombing which blasted big holes in two walls in the community centre hosting the meeting… ? Last year former interior minister Aftab Sherpao survived two suicide attacks in Charsadda that left dozens of people dead the most recent in December. Election rallies have been sparse since former premier Bhutto?s death in a suicide bomb and gun attack in Rawalpindi on December 27 and after the government issued a ?security advisory? for candidates to avoid big gatherings. Meanwhile two separate bomb blasts destroyed music and barber shops in Peshawar the capital of the country?s militancy-hit northwest police said. No one was injured by the improvised bombs but the explosions damaged five shops late Saturday local police officials said. Nobody claimed responsibility for the blasts but several music shops and hair salons have been attacked by pro-Taliban militants in the past who want to impose a strict Islamic code banning music and shaving of beards.

An open letter from Lennon:Yesterday I received notice that Yoko no had filed a law suit against me asking for a cancellation of the trademark that I own for the name “Lennon. ” This could very well mean the career that I have worked so hard at the one you all have believed in may come to an end. I wanted to address the situation to all my fans because without you I am nothing and it’s not fair to everyone who has believed in my music not to be properly informed of this pure bullshit. When I first started playing music at 14 I was known for the most part as “The Lennon Murphy Band”… ” This could very well mean the career that I have worked so hard at the one you all have believed in may come to an end. I wanted to address the situation to all my fans because without you I am nothing and it’s not fair to everyone who has believed in my music not to be properly informed of this pure bullshit. When I first started playing music at 14 I was known for the most part as “The Lennon Murphy Band”. Not a name I was very fond of no one could ever agree on anything so it made sense. A few months later some of the shows started being marketed using my full name as well as some that just using “Lennon. ” There was never really any consistency but there was well enough to justify stating that “Lennon” had been used in fact since 1997. When I signed with Arista Records in 2000 at the age of 18 a marketing decision was made to continue being known just as Lennon.

I usually start demoing songs at home in my basement on an eight-track or a ProTools system the same way I did 10 years ago. Then I bring them t o the guys who are a great barometer for what’s good and what’s not. I write tons and tons of music and then we get together to start performing it rehearsing it and arranging it and start knocking it into shape. I really trust those guys’ opinions and their tastes as far as what songs are worth it and what songs aren’t. Sometimes things can get a little cloudy in that areas. Sometimes I am in love with an instrumental and everyone else thinks it sucks. (Laughs) So yeah I have a band of really amazingly talented people who grab hold of their corner of a song and pull it in their direction and usually it makes the songs sound bigger and better and broader… Then I realized that I have to be in a rock band. I can’t be in an acoustic alt-country band. And so then I started writing for as rock record with all these acoustic songs left over. A lot of the acoustic songs on the album are older. Some of them are 15 years old some of them are 10 years old some of them are seven years old.

The concert was being held to launch its latest album. Pikiran Rakyat said there were more than 1500 people inside which it said was about 500 more than the building’s capacity. “We have questioned 51 witnesses and three suspects” Suparsono said according to Detikcom. The three were all from the organisers he said and added that more “from the committee of the crew” could also join the three as suspects.
