FATALIST features members Wes Caley (ex-Exhumed ex-Uphill Battle) Neil Burkdoll (ex-Stump Dirty Dead) Tyler Castro and Art Hayes. They formed in the spring of 2006 and write music reminiscent of Entombed Nihilist Grave Dismember and Unleashed. FATALIST’s demo CD entitled “Loss” was self-released in November of 2007… They have such a sincere heavy catchy and aggressive death metal vibe. It reminded me of the first time I heard some of the classic Scandinavian death metal bands of the late 80′s early 90′s. I feel that FATALIST is a extremely promising band and will be a staple of the worldwide death metal scene. He finished the night by saying: “See you later my friends. You’re officially part of the family”. And the venue felt like one big metal family some kind of cult with a mutual understanding of music and attire. Mums and dads proudly displayed their black Maiden t-shirts holding hands with their 10-year-old children who were also dressed in black rock band tees. It was a mix of young and old who hung on every word every riff and every tight-panted scissor kick of the band. r maybe that was just me. Long live Iron Maiden.
