Sego said he’s anxious about the impending release of the band’s first LP but that the guys aren’t letting those nerves get to them. “I’d be lying if I said we weren’t nervous at all but it isn’t getting any of us” he said. “I think good music speaks for itself and we worked our butts off on this album. We’re proud as we can be of it and we think it’s a great album. I don’t see how a kid could listen to it and not like it. But if it flops and doesn’t sell I’ll still be proud of it. I poured my heart and soul into it — all of us did… The album will be produced by Phillip Cope (Kylesa Baroness) and is the follow-up to Withered’s 2005 debut Memento Mori. Withered will preface their new release with a tour that runs from March 14 in Nashville to March 26 in Houston.

ne thing Robertson is continuing from Marley’s is his love for a wide palette of foreign and domestic brews. Although he won’t have as many as Marley’s did (55 different styles) Club Echo will carry about 20 types of beer. And Robertson is also bringing along his love of live music. "We’re going to do open mic and open stage on Tuesday and we’re going to support live and local music on Fridays" Robertson said. "We’re going to concentrate on the local scene on Friday and make it friendly for everyone. "He is also rolling with the strengths of a bigger and more established club spot that has three levels and two bars. "Club Echo is a little bit nicer and classier and we’re going to do live music a little more appropriate for that setting" Robertson said… "He is also rolling with the strengths of a bigger and more established club spot that has three levels and two bars. It was a real free for all. We were into about everything. "Robertson said he wants to make the club well echo that strong rock vibe that made that spot legendary on the scene with such acts as Fuel and Kid Rock playing the stage seen from two levels. "It’s going to be sort of back to the Gumby’s and Drop Shop type of real good music" Robertson said.
