Started in February of 2006 the band quickly gained the attention of the underground scene in the US and Europe with relentless touring and face-melting neck-snapping tunes. Ever since their inception Whitechapel have been turning heads whether it be by word of mouth online or through their devastating live show. With the line-up of the band at its strongest and best it has ever been the release of their highly anticipated full-length album entitled The Somatic Defilement (Candlelight USA) and their freshly inked deal with Metal Blade Records there is nothing that can stop them now. Look for Whitechapel on tour throughout the rest of 2007 in support of their latest album.

Ryan Adams can’t get enough of “ctober Road” apparently. Adams plans to shoot a clip for “Follow the Lights” — a song included on his Tuesday EP of the same name — Sunday in Los Angeles and it’s due to premiere January 7 during the first episode of the show’s second season. The collaboration marks the first time the cast of an ABC show has gotten together to take part in an artist’s music video… Bleeding Through singer Brandan Schieppati has teamed with Bad Religion drummer Brooks Wackerman No Use for a Name guitarist Dave Nassie and ex-Distillers bassist Ryan Sinn to form a new band called the Innocent.
