All-male Seattle stoner-experimental band Lesbian will release their four-song full-length album Power Hör March 27. The disc was recorded with producer Randall Dunn (Earth Asva) at Avast! and Aleph Studios and the music veers back and forth between ominous atmospheric sound waves and scalding mid-paced death metal. The third album by Norwegian black-metal band Furze may not be heaviest thing you’ve ever heard but surely you’ve never seen a disc with a longer name.

Smudged eye-liner black latex and sharp-angled haircuts werethe dress du jour on the main stages as prog-metal kings Tool andemo prats My Chemical Romance performed songs from their recentrespective odes to the Grim Reaper 10000 Days andThe Black Parade. The lyrics were bleak but the music was fortunately far fromfunereal.
