Paris Hilton has backed out of an appearance at the Billboard Music Awards on Monday because she’s not into cracking on her pals. Hilton’s spokesperson Elliot Mintz told AP that his client wasn’t happy with some of the jokes that had been written for her. “Some satirical references ridiculed some of her peers” he told the wire service. “Paris did not want to say anything that could appear hurtful or embarrassing about people she knows. ” The awards show which airs Monday on Fox will not have a host according to a network representative… Hughes had said that Stinson tossed his bass down in disgust during a November 24 gig in Cleveland when frontman Axl Rose called the Eagles the “Pigeons of Sh– Metal. ” Hughes also said Rose then picked up the instrument and hurled it at Stinson. “Eagles of Death Metal were a suggestion of mine a while ago” the GN’R bassist wrote. “Turns out they were the wrong band for our crowd. They were booed and did not play for as long as they were scheduled to. As for all of the inaccuracies that have been said since I would like to say that’s all they are — inaccuracies. In the past I have thrown my bass.

Huddersfield?s very own asis-Westlife hybrid Embrace are riding the crest of an MR wave at the moment. n the back of a new number one album they?ve been selected by those renowned musical tastemakers the F. to produce England?s official world cup anthem… to produce England?s official world cup anthem. They?d better not mention that tonight; might not go down to well. Entering the Aberdeen music hall tonight feels closer to a political party conference than a rock concert. There?s a distinct whiff of middle-aged sensibility. The grandiose setting of a Victorian style theatre stage suits the large soundscapes of Embrace and ?All You Good Good People? sets the ball rolling nicely. Despite the lack of credibility there?s something undeniably comforting about this music like your Mam?s best Sunday roast. Among the most recent songs Embrace seem like they are wringing out any last drops of creativity left in the band.

Malmsteen released a series of albums over the course of the ’80s that aside from slight differences in approach and execution were strongly similar to Rising Force and critics charged him with showing little artistic progression. He was also reviled as an egotist whose emphasis on blazing technique ultimately made for boring mechanical masturbatory music with no room for subtlety or emotion. Malmsteen responded by insisting that since he was already playing music he loved he had no desire to develop any further and that his love did come through in his playing. He also vehemently insisted that it was his imitators not him who reduced songwriting and composition to merely generic vehicles to show off the guitar player’s amazing technique. Toward the end of the decade Malmsteen fell out of favor with metal audiences and even some of his musician fan base seemed to tire of him and the incredible amount of practice it would take for them to emulate him. Following a series of personal setbacks tragedies and even injuries Malmsteen eventually resurfaced on small independent labels and then recorded at a prolific rapid pace continuing to play the music he loved in his patented neo-classical style. Brats on the Beat: Ramones for Kids (Go Kart)

we mostly cover alternative music comic books and unique entertainment. We also sponsor a yearly festival called PLAY:stl Sure there are lots of parents of young children out there who are fans of the Ramones. But does that warrant an entire CD of Ramones music re-recorded for kids? I don’t really think so. Brats on the Beat: Ramones for Kids is a compilation of the band’s hits redone (poorly) by the Gabba Gabba Heys and featuring a pretty impressive array of guest vocalists. All rights reserved… Gene Trautmann of Eagles of Death Metal and Emily Wynne-Hughes from Go Betty Go. Their voices are unfortunately lost amid songs that sounded almost exactly the same. At one point on my third run through the CD while working around the house I actually thought the CD player had gotten stuck and I had been listening to the same song repeating. The band pays little homage to the originals especially with the addition of overpowering children's backup vocals. I was really hyped to give a great review to a CD that is giving a portion of its proceeds to the St.
